Thanks a lot for purchasing these landscape maps! In this guide, I’ll show you how to use the maps to create 3D landscapes in Cinema 4D. I’ll also explain how to use them with the octane render plugin for Cinema 4D. The set consists of 2 textures for each landscape: a height map (also called displacement map), that will be used to modify the geometry of the plane it’s applied to, and create the 3D lanscape. The other texture, the color map, will be used to add colors and texturing to the terrain, directly based on the height map. This texture is optional - if you prefer, you can create your own colors or materials for this part.
